According to a release from the Liechtenstein government, officials from Indonesia and Liechtenstein met on 8 May 2019 to discuss the ratification of the EFTA Free Trade Agreement with Indonesia, as well as Liechtenstein's interest in the negotiation of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and will need to be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
