Lithuania is reportedly extending the tax payment relief provided in response to COVID-19 until 17 August 2020. Until that date, collection proceedings for outstanding taxes and social security contributions will not be enforced and late payment interest will not be applied. Further, late payment interest will not be charged on deferred taxes under tax payment extension arrangements that have been entered into, with no particular time limit.
