According to a release from Lithuania's Ministry of Finance, officials from Lithuania and Poland signed a tax cooperation agreement on 16 September 2022. The agreement will enable the countries to cooperate more actively in the tax field, including through the exchange of information and best practices in order to strengthen the fight against fraud and tax evasion, especially in the field of Value Added Tax (VAT).
