The Lithuanian parliament (Seimas) is considering a draft bill that would provide for a reduction in taxable profit for companies investing in municipalities with signs of "self-sustaining economic growth". Companies investing in qualifying municipalities are allowed to reduce taxable profits by the costs actually incurred to acquire eligible assets that are necessary for the execution of an investment project if:
