Luxembourg Council of Ministers Adopts Draft Bill for Non-Deductibility of Interest and Royalty Payments to Non-Cooperative Jurisdictions

On 25 March 2020, the Luxembourg Council of Ministers adopted a draft bill including provisions to disallow the deduction of interest and royalty payments to companies established in non-cooperative jurisdictions. For this purpose, Luxembourg would follow the EU list of non-cooperative jurisdictions, which as of 27 February 2020, includes 12 jurisdictions.
