Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel has confirmed that three of the country's value added tax (VAT) rates will increase from January 1st 2015.
The standard VAT rate will increase from 15% to 17%, while the reduced rate of 12% will be increased to 14% and the reduced rate of 6% will be increased to 8%. Luxembourg's third reduced rate of 3% will remain unchanged.
