Malaysia Revises Sales Tax Rates and Expands Service Tax Scope Effective 1 July 2025

Malaysia's Ministry of Finance issued a release on 9 June 2025 announcing revisions of the Sales Tax rates and the expansion of the scope of Service Tax effective 1 July 2025. The changes are introduced through the following orders published in the Official Gazette on the same day:
