Malta Ratifies Tax Treaty With Moldova

The tax treaty between Malta and Moldova, signed April 10th, 2014, was ratified by Malta on May 6th, 2014. The treaty will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply for withholding tax on income derived on or after January 1st of the year following its entry into force, and for all other matters in respect of taxable periods beginning on or after that date.
