Officials from Mauritius and Rwanda met on 11 August 2025 to discuss bilateral relations, including potential updates to the 2013 income tax treaty between the two countries. Any resulting updates, likely in the form of an amending protocol, would be the first to the treaty and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
