On 20 November 2020, the Mauritius Cabinet authorized the signing of income tax treaties with Angola, Estonia, and Lesotho. The treaties will Angola and Estonia will be the first of their kind between Mauritius and the respective countries, while the treaty with Lesotho is intended to replace the existing 1997 tax treaty between the two countries. All three treaties must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
