Ministry of Finance announces increase of late-payment interest rate

On 4 November 2010, the Ministry of Finance issued an Announcement introducing an increase in the late-payment interest rate charged on tax in arrears. This increase is the result of the new method of computation of the late-payment interest. With effect from 9 November 2010, the rate of the late-payment interest is 12%, and the reduced rate is 9%
