On 6 August 2025, Moldova's Cabinet of Ministers approved the signing of an administrative arrangement for the implementation of the pending social security agreement with France. The agreement, signed 10 March 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will generally apply from that date.
