Moldova Authorizes Negotiation of Tax Treaty with France

On 5 February 2020, the Moldovan parliament authorized the Ministry of Finance to enter into negotiations for a new income tax treaty with France. A tax treaty between the two countries was signed in 2006 to replace the tax treaty between France and the former Soviet Union as it applies in respect of France and Moldova, although it was never ratified.
