Moldova Planning to Increase Personal Income Tax Allowances, Expand Non-Taxable Income and Deductions, and Extend Statute of Limitations

Moldova's Ministry of Finance recently published a draft law containing various amendments for 2025, including certain personal income tax amendments. This includes increases in the different personal income tax allowances as follows:

• Personal allowance - increased from MDL 27,000 to MDL 29,700
• Major personal allowance - increased from MDL 31,500 to MDL 34,620
