Moldova published Law No. 148 of 14 June 2024 in the Official Gazette on 2 July 2024, which allows for the deduction of food products donated for charitable purposes. In particular, the law allows food business operators to deduct for tax purposes the value of food products donated, subject to annually approved limits. Further, food business operators may deduct input VAT on goods purchased in the course of their business activities and subsequently donated.
