Moldova has introduced a 12% reduced VAT rate for services and food supplies by entities providing accommodation and restaurant services, down from 15%. The 12% reduced rate applies from 1 January 2021. A further temporary reduction to 6% is also reportedly being considered in response to COVID-19.
