As part of recent reforms for 2022, Montenegro has abolished the health insurance contribution requirements under the Law on Contributions to Compulsory Social Security with effect from 1 January 2022. As a result, total employers and employees are no longer required to make contributions of 2.3% and 8.5% for health insurance, respectively.
