On 16 December 2022, Montenegro published an amendment law in the Official Gazette that reportedly provides for a reduction in the VAT rate on baby diapers and feminine hygiene products from 21% to 7%. A reduction in the VAT rate to 7% is also provided on the sale, installation, and import of solar panels.
