Officials from Montenegro and Ukraine reportedly concluded the second round of negotiations with the initialing of an income tax treaty on 28 August 2024. The treaty must be signed and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 2001 tax treaty between Ukraine and the former Yugoslavia as it applies in respect of Montenegro and Ukraine.
