According to a recent release from Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Morocco and Kenya met on 26 May 2025 to discuss economic cooperation and development, including through the negotiation of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
