According to a release from the Andorran government, officials from Andorra and Belgium met 3 January 2018 to discuss bilateral relations, including the state of negotiations for an income tax treaty. The two sides are currently working on the treaty text resulting from the first round of negotiations, which was held in October 2017. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
