On 10 July 2025, the Netherlands published the Law of 2 July 2025 in the Official Gazette for the ratification of the pending income and capital tax treaty between Curacao and San Marino. The treaty, signed 20 November 2023, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force on the last day of the month after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
