On 14 November 2019, officials from Egypt and the United Arab Emirates signed a new income tax treaty. The treaty will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1994 tax treaty between the two countries. Details of the new treaty will be published once available.
