New Zealand and Saudi Arabia Continue Tax Treaty Negotiations

According to an update from New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, officials from New Zealand and Saudi Arabia are holding a second round of negotiations for an income tax treaty in April 2026. The first round of negotiations was held in July 2017. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
