The Nigeria Customs Service has issued a release via X announcing that a two-year exemption from import duty and VAT is being provided on the import of raw materials essential for the production of pharmaceutical products, which is limited to manufacturers of pharmaceutical products recognized by the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, provided they possess a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN). The release is dated 26 March 2025.
