Nigeria's Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has issued a public notice to provide clarification on the administration of stamp duty. The notice also includes that FIRS is prepared to reposition stamp duty as the next major revenue source for Nigeria, in light of the continued fall in revenue from oil and gas.
