Effective 1 October 2021, Norway has reverted its reduced (low) VAT rate to 12% for passenger transport, overnight accommodation, public broadcasting, and access to cinemas, museums, amusement parks, and sporting events. The reduced rate had been temporarily reduced to 6% in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
