The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) issued notification No. 36 of 2012 dated 30 August 2012 providing for the rules regarding the recently introduced advanced pricing agreement (APA) scheme in the Finance Act 2012 (i.e. section 92CC and 92CD of Income-tax Act, 1961 (ITA)). Further, the Ministry of Finance has also issued a Press Release dated 31 August 2012 notifying the Advance Pricing Arrangement (APA) Scheme. The APA Schemewill come intoforcefrom 30 August 2012.
