The Department of Finance of Nova Scotia, Canada has announced that it is reducing its harmonized sales tax (HST) rate to 14% with effect from 1 April 2025. The HST is comprised of the 5% federal GST and a provincial rate, which Nova Scotia is reducing from 10% to 9%.
