On 14 July 2021, Oman's Consultative Assembly (lower house of the Council of Oman - parliament) approved the signing of an income tax treaty with Oman. The signing of the treaty was approved by the Cabinet in April 2021. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
