Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue has issued a notice regarding the launch of the electronic filing of tax appeals with effect from 1 January 2021. As previously reported, this includes that appeals under the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 must be filed electronically via the Iris web portal, including attachments.
A separate notice has also been issued urging taxpayers to file their tax returns in order to be included in the active taxpayers list, which will be updated after 1 March 2021.
