Panama's National Assembly is considering a draft bill that contains amendments to the country's social security rules. This includes, among other things, an increase in the social security contribution due by employers from 12.25% to 15.25%. The draft bill also includes amendments regarding contributions by self-employed individuals and changes in the retirement age.
