According to a release from the Portuguese government, officials from Angola and Portugal signed a pension agreement on 19 May 2023 to ensure that individuals working in Portugal can continue to receive benefits accrued if retiring in Angola and vice versa. The agreement will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
