According to a Ministerial Resolution published in Peru's Official Gazette on 4 May 2026, officials from Peru and Singapore are scheduled to hold the fourth round of negotiations for an income tax treaty from 16 to 19 June 2026. Negotiations for a tax treaty first began in 2011. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
