Peru and Switzerland Conclude Tax Treaty Protocol Negotiations

On 16 April 2025, officials from Peru and Switzerland concluded negotiations with the initialing of an amending protocol to the 2012 tax treaty between the two countries, which is meant to bring the treaty in line with OECD BEPS standards. The protocol is the first to amend the treaty and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
