The Philippine Bureau of Inland Revenue (BIR) has issued a communication on the issuance of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 12-2020 on 21 May regarding deadline extensions in relation to COVID-19. One of the key provisions of RR No. 12-2020 is the repeal of the provision of RR No. 11-2020 that would provide a further 15-day extension of deadlines if the quarantine period for COVID-19 is extended.
