Poland's Senate has reportedly proposed an amendment to draft legislation that would abolish the maximum salary basis for social security contributions, which is currently PLN 127,890 (annual). The amendment provides that the contributions would be made on total gross salary from 1 January 2019 instead of from 2018 as originally proposed.
