Poland's Proposed Notional Interest Deduction

As part of proposed tax reforms for 2019, Poland is planning for the introduction of a notional interest deduction. The deduction would be based on the amount of capital contributions and retained profits for the year multiplied by a prescribed rate. As proposed, the rate would be equal to the reference rate of the National Bank of Poland plus 1.0%, with the total deduction per year limited to PLN 250,000.
