Portugal Ratifies Agreement to Implement Multilateral Social Security Convention

On 5 June 2014 Portugal signed Decree 20/2014 ratifying the pending agreement on implementation of the Ibero-American multilateral social security convention.

The agreement establishes rules and procedures intended to implement the convention that currently applies between Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
