Serbia's Institute for Social Insurance has issued a news release announcing that the first round of negotiations for a social security agreement with Portugal was held from 27 to 29 September 2022. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
