During a speech given on 9 July 2024, the President of Sao Tome and Principe, Carlos Vila Nova, urged members of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (Comunidade de Paises da Lingua Portuguesa - CPLP) to ratify the pending CPLP Multilateral Agreement on Social Security.
