On 26 May 2009, Switzerland and Denmark initialed an amending protocol to provide administrative assistance in tax matters under Article 26 of the OECD Model Convention, so as to amend Article 27 of the income and capital tax treaty of 23 November 1973 as amended by the protocol of 11 March 1997.
