The Swiss Federal Council has formally requested the Swiss Federal Parliament to ratify the protocol to the tax treaty between Switzerland and Belgium. The treaty was signed in 1997 but had never been ratified by Argentina. Nevertheless, both countries have provisionally applied it. Argentina asked for an amendment of the treaty.
