Protocol to treaty between Sweden and Austria approved

On 14 December 2006, the Swedish parliament adopted the proposal (Prop. 2006/07:14) to approve the amending protocol, signed on 21 August 2006, to the 1959 income and capital tax treaty between Sweden and Austria. Accordingly, Sweden has taken constitutional measures as required under the protocol with regard to its application. Sweden will generally apply the protocol from 1 January 2007.
