Protocol to SSA between France and Quebec has Entered into Force

The amending protocol to the 2003 social security agreement between France and Quebec, Canada entered into force on 1 December 2017. The protocol, signed 28 April 2016, is the first to amend the agreement. It includes a number of amendments to reflect changes in social security systems in both jurisdictions, extends the scope of the agreement to the French territory Saint Pierre and Miquelon, and updates provisions on exchange of information and data protection.
