On 16 May 2014, a protocol was signed that amends the tax information exchange agreement between the U.S. and Liechtenstein. The protocol adds article 5A to the agreement, which covers automatic exchange of information.
The protocol is the first to amend the agreement originally signed in 2008, and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
