Protocol to Tax Treaty between Botswana and France Signed

On 27 July 2017, officials from Botswana and France signed a protocol to amend the 1999 income tax treaty between the two countries. The protocol is the first to amend the treaty and reportedly updates Article 26 (Exchange of Information) to bring it line with the OECD standard for information exchange.
