According to recent reports, officials from Botswana and Zimbabwe have agreed to the signing of an amending protocol to the 2004 income and capital tax treaty between the two countries. The protocol will be the first to amend the treaty and reportedly provides for an update to Article 25 (Exchange of Information) to bring it in line with the OECD standard for information exchange.
