On 15 March 2018, officials from Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates signed an amending protocol to the 1998 tax treaty between the two countries. The protocol is the first to amend the treaty and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the protocol will be published once available.
