On 9 May 2018, officials from Denmark and the Netherlands signed an amending protocol to the 1996 tax treaty between the two countries. The protocol is the first to amend the treaty and reportedly includes amendments to bring the treaty in line with the latest OECD standards in respect to BEPS and exchange of information.
